Wonderful day

A tiring day as I dragged myself up from my cosy bed on a Saturday! Hmm.. shouldnt I still be in my sweet dream having work so hard for the past few days! Well, cant help it since I got to get things done before I can go out with my family at ease. It was the normal same old Saturday where I usually have a family outing. We started with Bugis Guan Yin temple as our first destination followed by suntec then finally the esplanade also known as "durian" or "wings of a flies". There 's nothing much to mention of for we only shopped at the aforementioned places. After which we walk a long way to esplande to have our dinner at Ichiban. A nice ambience japanese restuarant that serve delicious japanese food though the restaurant itself doesnt have Jap style as per normal Japanese restuarant should look like! The food variety and service were many times better than sakae sushi and I strongly recommend my friends to eat there the next time I go out with them!;p But my spirits and moods lightened when we go for a taxi boat ride near the esplande! I feel as if I am a tourist relooking Singapore from another angle! It was a 30mins ride that cost $12/head. The ticket seller, an elderly uncle offered to us at a discount price of $10/head. Hmm...initially I was so worried for the dark clouds are gathering and flash of lightning striked past, it seemed as if it is going to pour soon! I feel butterflies in my stomach whenever fears arise as I am scared of boat rides since young. Surprisingly, the ride was a smooth one with the boat moving acorss the river in a smooth and steady speed. It was simply cooling as I feel the wind blowing gently on my face. My fears turn into calmness when my attention was diverted to the beautiful night scenery of fullerton hotel! A majestic and grand building standing tall, the best architecture in Singapore which deserves more than a glance! On a glance at the other side, there are stars above the esplanade, so sparkling and shining, adding brightness and warmth to the cold night. I felt much relieved and delighted for all my frustration, stress and worries were abandoned and forgotten at that moment. This cold night has turn into a warm and comfortable night for somehow my heart was calmed by it. Suddenly, I reminisced the times I have spent chatting at the coffee bean at boat quay and taking the boat ride with my secondary school friends. It would have been a romantic ride with your love one! okie frenz, I shall recommend you to go for the taxi boat ride if you have no where to go with your girlfriends or boyfriends! ~*wink wink*~ I falled into deep sleep when I reach home.
